What is an empanadas?
Well, it's a little stuffed pastry [At Mazzola, we have three options; either chicken, beef, or cheese].
This recipe comes from our grandparents, originally from Argentina! These famous "stuffed pastries" are traditional in Argentina. Their popularity almost surpasses pizza.
Our empanadas can be enjoyed either as an appetizer for your guests or as a starter for you and your family.
No sauce needed to accompany this delight, or you'll ruin the delicious taste of the homemade dough and the beef or chicken or the cheese mixture inside.
Each empanada is worked with care and caution, rolled in dough and then closed gently, this is true delicacy.
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS : Place empanadas on parchment paper, brush with egg yolk or milk. Place in the oven at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes.
